well in the beginning it was mostly because he was so dark and mysterious, and he just seemed so downright evil and heartless (I like evil characters ) so I admired him since the first day I saw him in the anime. But now that I know his whole story, of how he pretty much sacrificed himself to keep his brother and Konoha safe, I just admire him even more. I mean how can you not admire someone that noble and loyal...he did not deserve his sad fate T.T

i agree, at first he was cool because he was awesome but i slightly disliked him for causing sasuke to feel so down, then when he died and i found out the truth, i felt really sad for him
