I knew about Nano since last year when my friend encouraged me to try it out. Since I love a challenge, I couldn't let myself miss that opportunity. I'm currently behind on my wordcount due to homework, but I'll catch up eventually. Next Sunday is halfway point; hopefully my story will be easier to roll from then on.

NaNo's coming along pretty awesome for me. I'm already topping 35K! I'm hoping to break the 50K by Sunday, but that's a little overzealous.... 
What's your novel about?

Nice. I'm too overwhelmed with homework, but I hope to at least get to the halfway point by this weekend.
My novel is a modern epistolary novel (made up of letters, telegrams, diary/journal entries, etc; in my case, they're made up of blog entries, emails, etc.) about a group of students at a vampire academy (the setting's been done before) and somehow, my Nano so far involves the Bermuda Triangle and Atlantis. I would categorize what I want to accomplish in this year's Nano as a gothic/romance/adventure type genre (although the Nano website just has literary fiction).
