Hey! Someone on deviantart named archangelderf asked if he could make a youtube video using my drawings set to music. Well, I didn't really think much about it. I think it's unusual for a person with autism to have a long relationship. But, all said, my wife is even crazier than I am. She looks like a normal person, but she's really the Angel of Death. I don't think anyone else would have either of us. But we get along all right.

You're still young. Young people need to go through a series of relationships.

I don't love anyone. I don't know what that means. I have very little emotional receptivity. I just seem to have the depression side of the emotional scale. I certainly never loved my parents. I like having the cats around, but I don't think I love them. The kids sometimes ask if I love Kim Possible. I most certainly do not love Kim Possible.

I suggested that my wife and I get married out of practicality. If we were married, my wife would get health insurance under my coverage (I was a full-time teacher then). People with autism have not one ounce of romance in them. Everything is practicality. I still think that it showed a concern for her. But passion is not something anyone with autism can even aspire to. The irony is that now that I'm a substitute and my wife is a full-time teacher, I'm covered under her insurance.

I think all this overspending has had a very negative impact on our relationship. I don't feel safe because I never know when she's going to get into debt (you know, in 1999 she had racked up $53,000.00 worth of debt). It's very unsettling. Of course, for many, many years I drank wildly beyond excess. I was not a glass-of-wine-with-dinner drunk. I was a falling-down-the-stairs, stabbng-dinner-knives-in-the-wall-pictures drunk. So we were nobody's idea of a "catch," even though we were a pretty attractive couple.

We just live together and get along. We haven't been physical since 1996 (which is when I started taking antidepressants, and antidepressants are well-known as completely destroying one's libido). So, I don't know how much I'm capable of giving. And I think my wife prefers that. I think that she doesn't like being close to anyone. She spends most of her time watching television. I spend mine drawing. I definitely draw because I can't think of anything better to do. The only thing I ever enjoyed in life was getting so drunk that I couldn't even lie on the floor without holding on. But you cannot do that and go to school. The hangovers and the remorse are insurmountable. So it becomes a choice. And I choose going to school, drawing on the board, trying to get by and make do, because the only thing I ever truly liked is destructive beyond comprehension, like embracing a flame.

I work at a wonderful fishing pier. We do extreme amounts of business. So, it's not bad. But man. It gets so old. And you never get over how nasty it is there.

Lots of tourist stuff, (For some reason people come to North Carolina.), fishing poles, (also avaliable for rental), fishing permits, clothing, bait & tackle, food, premium ice cream, we have an arcade, just all kinds of stuff really. Plus, you have to go through our shop to get to the pier. So people just end up getting stuff. We are really inexpensive, so people more inclined to make a purchase.

You are very receptive! But it actually does not. The Pier House is actually very big, and we have advanced storage facilities for people who have caught things that they wish to keep preserved as well bait we keep in the store. What smells: the people, the urine I have to clean off of the walls in the male restroom, and the occasional, (and unavoidable), pier trash.

I don't know if it is men, or little boys. But it is absolutely disgusting. And sometimes, when I put the "Closed For Cleaning" sign up, men come in anway and prepare to pee right in front of me. I don't understand why some men have to be so...revolting.

Simply business management. Which is why I think I'm so stupid for wanting to go to an out of state college. Also, one in performance arts wouldn't be bad. And yes, the navy is an option. If all else fails. Or I really can't afford to go anywhere else.. I was going to try and move to Florida for a year, so that I could establish residency and not have to pay out of state tuition. But I cannot even afford to move there.

I thought of going into the air force when I graduated from high school. That would have been a mistake. I'm unbelievably glad I didn't do that. I'd gotten the highest score anyone had ever gotten on their entry/aptitude test. (That should have been my first clue that I didn't belong there). Then they really tried to get me to enlist.

I did make a similar mistake about ten years later when I joined the police department in California. That didn't last a year, and was a disaster. I'm too gentle for that kind of work. Any military-type organization requires a definite personality type.
