ani, i couldn't be happier for you, what an awesome gift for the day! i'm proud of you, even though i don't know you well. that was always my dream, i was accepted to a phd program for bristish history but had to turn it down. so you've fulfilled my dream! my father, love of my life, is a retired american military history prof. i love the academic community, grew up with it. i had college all worked out before i go there! where did you go to school? got any interviews, i know times are very tough in academics. what school of philosophy do you most believe in?

I was on university in my city Skopje - Sv.Kiril i Metodij
Here is very difficult for finding job as professor - we are very small state and the politic is bad... So I'll be long time without a job ( but I'm very happy now for the degree)

hi!! i was away from da for about 7 months. i was very depressed and also i had to have surgery on my right hand--so scary for an artist!! i couldn't do anything, no typing, no drawing, no painting, no writing! gah!it's all fine now and you can barely see the scar.

i'm still very up and down emotionally, but my husband has a wound on his leg that won't heal, so he's on antibiotics and bed rest, so i've had to do everything, and i'm very agoraphobic, so it's been really hard.

it's hard getting professorial jobs here, too. my dad is a retired history prof. he had a terrible time finding the position he eventually got, he had to work in retail before, i think it broke his heart for awhile to have done all that work and not be able to get a teaching/researching job. of course that was a very long time ago. these days they hire people for a year or two and then they have to find another job at another university. they don't have long term contracts anymore.
i realize i got confused when you said doctorate of philosophy you meant PhD, not actually that your expertise is in philosophy, right? what is your specialty?

I know about your hand that you had some problems before - I'm glad it's ok now, but this with your husband and that you are agoraphobic I hope it will be fixed soon. You must work on your phobia and I hope his leg will be good. Health is the most important thing in the world and is good that you have each other.
Please inform me soon - how are bout of you.

* Well now I have a degree to be philosophy professor in high school but not on university it's not a doctorate. ( I would love to be Prof.Dr.Anita Nestorovska - but some day in future - I have to earn money first)
