To become a member, you have to have an account on deviantArt. Our only rule for new members is that you should have at least one deviation in your gallery that is in the Artisan Crafts or Traditional Art/Sculpture galleries. It would be very helpful if you could link to one of your crafty deviations in the note that you can add to your membership application (after pressing the "Join Our Group" button).
What are the benefits of becoming a member?
As a member you can submit deviations (please read the rules) to be sent directly to all watchers and members.
You can also send in trades for our Exchange Corner , where we will host a link to your deviation for one month, so other deviants can contact you if they are interested in a trade. (this is for trades only, not for sales, please)
If you are stuck with your crafty work, feel free to send us a note for our Need Help? section. We will link to your journal and other members will hopefully answer your questions.

Pardon me, but I'm making jewelry and the hole I want to put a jump ring through is 1/6th of an inch. What size of a jump ring would be best?

Probably the next size smaller! It's much easier to fit jump rings into holes if they are smaller than what they will be put into!In my experience anyway! So 1/8th of an in. or 1/12 of an inch would probably work best.

I felt that my last post was too general, so I wanted to post a new one here to let my inquiries be known.
I am looking for Human Plush Artists that I haven't commissioned yet. They are hard to find, I know. But anyway, I am indeed looking for them.
Please know that I'm not looking for amurigumi, crotcheted, knitted or needle felt ones. These are NoNos.
The yarn thing just doesn't interest me and although needle felt plush are definitely crafted well like a plush sculpture, they aren't snuggly.
So, just to sum it up, looking for human plush artists I haven't commissioned before, no yarn or needle felt.

Attention All Plush-makers
Iβll try to keep this short and brief.Β
I was commissioned by a women named Tori McGill, owner of Jellibunn Creations( or Little Shop of Wonders), a few weeks ago to make her 50 plush cats. At first she was nice and sweet, but as time when on she changed. The read flags should have gone off, but I didnβt realize what a bind I was in until I was already in too deep. My experience can be read aboutΒ here .
It has gone too far (and downright abusive) and I need to warn people so they donβt have the same issues as me. It was taxing on my health and I never want anyone to experience what I went through.Β
Please be weary of Tori McGill/ Mylifeline(DA)βJellibunn Creations (Facebook and Etsy)/or whatever else she goes by; if she asks you for a commission, think twice about. No matter how good the money looks,Β please think about it first before accepting.Β Β
