# About me

Born in 1976, Benoit Behydezell has had a passion for heraldry and illumination since a very early age. He has studied at the Institut Supérieur Européen de L'Enluminure et du Manuscrit, in Angers, France, graduating in 2000. He presently resides in Nantes. His chosen mediums are gouache natural pigments, gold and silver leaf on parchment or paper. His art is often based on the Carolingian, Romanesque and Gothic styles which are his favourites.

your gallery is stunning! every piece contains so much detail, that it's hard to stop looking.
I actually can't believe I didn't discover your gallery before, since I love the Middle Ages (my major at the university is medieval studies).

ah non je suis nantais pur souche je n'ai pas quitté naoned mais je fais du tourisme et accessoirement des photos quand j'ai la chance que l'appareil fonctionne !

Serait ce possible que je n'aurais pas fait attention étant atteint du mal caractéristique des artistes de tout temps c'est a dire la tête dans les nuages et très peu les pieds sur terre, ce qui chez moi frise la pathologie incurable. :p (Lick)

Que de questions indiscrètes et fâcheuses me posez vous la ! un age où raisonnablement il serait temps et plus que temps d'arrêter les comportements insouciants post ado. J'aurai cette année l'age du christ comme on dit; l'age idéal ou l'on doit réssucité sous forme de corps glorieux si évidement on est pas tombé sur l'Autre en tournant dans la prochaine rue. Quant à mes études je l'ai est faite ici [link] à Angers au siècle dernier du millénaire d'avant, c'est tout dire... ;) (Wink)

what else ? et justement parce que j'ai pas la gueule à George Clooney pour faire mannequin et je n'avais aucune envie de vendre du café. non mais sérieusement en voyant mon travail on voit que ca me plait non ? :p (Lick) faut être passionné c'est indispensable pour faire ça je crois !
