ME TOO. It BITES. I have only touched one horse since last summer, and it was a cute little Amish horse who gave me the most forlorn look when I walked away. I wanted to unhitch him and take him with me, he was adorable! (blood bay with no markings, the sweetest face, and pretty good conformation. He was a cutie!!!)

I know. there is one horse not far from our house that is this very regal looking pinto (he looks like a warmblood, but I'm pretty sure he isn't) and I never once seen him being ridden or anything! He's such a love-bug too. I just want to take him home with me.

I'm sort of half-browsing the internet for a horse, just sort of looking to be looking, and I've found several super-adorable paints whose noses definitely need kisses. I want one so bad! But I was actually thinking about going to the Amish auction next time and just seeing what they have. My parents and I were there one time and we met this one Standardbred(?) gelding who loved to have his ears scratched. I stood there for hours scratching his ears... he would tilt his head like a dog so you could reach them better. He was SO CUTE, and I WANTED HIM. But alas, the poor sweet fellow probably got sold to someone who didn't know horses, or to a kill buyer. It made me sad

I read the Fugly Horse of the Day blog, and today she featured this really adorable TB mare named Broadway that I'm absolutely in love with. She's brown with one white foot, about 6 years old, needs finishing, but was raced so is totally bombproof. I. WANT. HER. She walks, trots, canters, has a really pretty headset, loads, clips, ties, bathes, looks like a total pocket pony. The only problem is she's halfway across the country. And I don't have the time or money to give her the home she needs... but I want her SO BAD.

But when I go out to Iowa tomorrow, there's this donkey farm near where my grandparents live that I'm going to try and go to, just to look around. I love donkeys, too, and they're miniature donkeys. I want to spend a whole day kissing asses xD
