I use pencil most of the time. There are times I tried coloring, but it doesn't really work out; still in the progress of learning. xD
Thanks, I'll be sure to check them out. Lol. I haven't been on dA long enough to find an artist to recommend to you. I'll be sure to let you know once I find someone.

i definitely recommend streetlight19 he is amazing at using colored pencils so shade and do shadow effects and his stuff is so hahaha but yeah im still trying to figure out drawing ive just started this past month and well i love it but ive learned not to be too hard on what i see as my failures because they help me become better ^^

I was checking out some of streetlight19's work. He is good at coloring. I especially like his work 'Stare'. Don't worry. You'll figure it out. It took me a long time too. ^^

I was really amazed too! And I love how she blends in some colored pencils to emphasize on a certain feature. I find that creative.

Yep. Just keep practicing and don't get frustrated, but that part is hard. xD
