Sadly, I do not.  I use Illustrator's shape tools to make and mold shapes until they look like the faces, limbs, etc that I need them to be and piece them together like Legos.

It's funny, but my hands have never been very stable and I always had trouble drawing by hand.  Manipulating shapes compensates for my terrible hand-eye coordination and lets me handle every aspect of the outline at my own pace with no fear of having to erase and start over...I should also add that I heavily mimic reference images as I work and only make up entirely new shapes if I'm making my own characters or drawing things like rocks, trees, blobs, etc.

Although, it does get annoying when I have to draw things like bundles of fur, spiky hair or other objects with a lot of little points sticking out.

I actually got one of those 2-in-1 laptop-tablets in the hopes that I could use it as a drawing tablet, but I was told that the sensitivity of the laptop wasn't right for drawing and that I'd be better off with a dedicated graphic tablet.  Until I take a drawing class or something, I think I'll stick with the shape tools.  Thank you for the suggestion, though.

For a long time I've also used the mouse to cut out pieces of photos. Now I have a very cheap bamboo tablet and I like it. But if you feel comfortable with the mouse I'd stay with that.
Touch screens of 2in1 devices are sometimes really bad. I've recently bought one for university and my notes on it look like the writing of a young schoolkid XD
