# About me
So I'm gobsmacked to see that I've been on DeviantART for 9 years! Like wowweewowee. Journal posts from 2009 people, I deleted them before I dared to read them lol. This profile has been loooonnnnngggg overdue for a makeover. Since becoming a mommy I've not had much time or energy to do any art but as my little one becomes more independent I'm fitting in a few sketches here and there.I do lots of types of art. Mainly traditional drawings, because I love to physically hold a pencil and get close up to it like a good real book. But I also love the bright splashes of effortless colour that can be achieved via digital work, something I only began a few years ago but definitely had a spark for; especially cartoon styles. I do a little painting too, and photography and a spot of traditional animation. Nothing more fun than seeing your drawings come to life.
The goal is to show my true animation potential this year, whether it be in fleeting GIF images or an animated short or some sort. I had some experience in a top animation studio last year and it was soooo incredibly inspiring.
