Just logged on for the first time in... iunno? And saw it's your birthday. And that you submitted things that are warming my heart just from glancing over them... reminds me why I joined dA in the first place. Thank you... for still being here, I guess... and for still being you.

Hope you're enjoying this day, and the milestone that is the new year of life offers an opportunity to look back on many things you did and experienced this last year which you're proud of, which you can smile about, and which give you strength for those periods where fun is in shorter supply.
Wish you a running start into this coming year, with smooth, fine stretches to run through at full power, and quiet spots with a great view and great company, in which to take a rest in between and just enjoy life. Wish you people to applaud and inspire you, and people who have your back, and people who can offer that hug everyone needs but which feels so incredibly difficult to ask for

I'd love to make something to inspire you - or, more accurately, finish something, haha. I've got so much half-finished stuff lying around I could probably spend a two-week holiday doing nothing but fixing and finishing. I hope to be able to switch jobs this year so I'll no longer be traveling so much. There's no greater killer to creativity than mediocre hotel rooms with mediocre infrastructure in mediocre cities XD

I can't help but think it has to be worse in the creative industry... the things I do have a widely accepted hourly rate, and if someone doesn't like what I do I can point at a PDF and say 'It's according to best practices.' Both limit the time I need to spend doing things I don't like. If I had a job creatively designing things, I'd probably take even longer for something I don't like to do, and my muse probably be used up (or fed up, or strung up) by the end of the process, making sure I can't just switch to pleasant things when I'm finally done
How's the market in Australia, btw? Here in Austria, creative freelancers exist in a dog-eat-dog free-for-all which makes sure no one gets good rates. And stuff like 99 designs does not help.

Hey listen I gonna be learning by my guitar teacher soon but got some questions about being a hobby
1.someone (like my guitar teacher) can help you how to draw right? (Cause my sis think that she not professional and stuff and she charge 20$ instead of 5$ she told her friend about it she saying Iβm stubborn even tho Iβm not)
2.hobby is that you learn by yourself right? (My sis told me about that)
3.is there any YouTube vid that can help how to draw manga? (Cause I seen of vid of you drawing manga wrong)
