That's a pretty egotistical way of looking at it, and I do disagree with you. Yes, it's common courtesy to say "thank you" when someone adds something of yours to their favorites, and I always make a point to do so, especially as a measly little artist-to-be who doesn't have thousands and thousands of people adding favorites to my stuff daily.

Ah well, it's really not something that bothers me anymore.

Anyways, I rather do enjoy your work, so, uh ... thank you, and you're welcome. keep it up. c:

Thank you for taking the time to reply - I must admit that my tirade was a little tongue in cheek as I found your statement egotistical too.

However, I am pleased when I see people adding my work to their favs and collections and I did start to say thanks but then found that it could take a bit of time to do so. I then resolved to always reply to comments and that is where I am at the moment.

I often look at people's work if they add me and I leave a comment if I feel so moved and it was your statement that caught my eye with you.

I am glad that it does not bother you because I find life too short to be bothered so much by others - I would rather not give them the power to spoil my life.

I am glad that you enjoy my work and please continue to enjoy it - I would always value any comments that you have about it but particularly I am interested to know how it effects you.
