Thanks for uploading some of the PS3 Umineko sprites. Though, because you uploaded that, I feel I need to warn you about a user on deviantart named papertune. He/She has been going around, flagging any "fan-art" or "sprite-works" he/she sees, despite the fact that it's not against the rules to post them as long as they're under the "fan-art" category. What makes things worse is that he/she has a "friend" working for the DA admins, and is abusing that friendships power to get peoples personal and fan-art works removed without question. I was victim of this not to long ago, and lost 150+ deviations off of my profile, a good lot of them being sprite-works and screenshots that I personally made/snapshotted, and a few that were completely hand made by me via: photographs.

So, yeah...Longer story short, "Be careful".

Thanks for the warning. It's under the right category so I don't see the harm in stuff that is supposed to be used as references. The one sprite per page doesn't have a transparency so Idk how anybody could really use them tbh aside from inspiration? I hate when people get really anal about stuff like that, but I'm not claiming the production art as my own ect I just wanted to make something useful (especially because I am working on a stakes fanart myself and realized how much of a pain it was to open individual files to check things)

I'm curious though, what kinds of fanart were they? You didn't just take screenshots and mend them together right? I don't think that's allowed..that's why I see a lot of Demotivational posters get taken down. Of course, I know people make wallpapers with official art (I have one of those in my gallery too). Some people can just be really really anal about those kinds of things depending on how they interpret them

No, I went full force on making these by modifying the sprites so that they would remain in HD; adding in tons of filters; putting the backgrounds together and even sometimes creating my own; and then I also went and gave credit to the company not only in the description, but by placing the title logo in one of the four corners...At least I still have them on my facebook account.

well, IMO things like that aren't meant for DA, but I think those are more interesting to see in my inbox than copied vectors or blatant anime screenshots turned into OCs ect. There is one Umineko artist in particular who keeps doing things like that and I've reported her stuff several times and even called her out on it but she keeps doing it. It's one thing to use a pose as a reference, but to use the whole style and everything and then be so proud of it? Knowing that you traced? BAH

Anyway chick is going after the wrong things...
