Lord halp me.  Okay, in short terms, Forthright is possibly my #1 most favorite fanfiction author.  She's in the top 3, next to RosieB and Cynchick.  She's also just published her first two original novels and an original short story.  She's most well-known for her Sesshoumaru x Kagome fanfiction, if you're familiar with Inuyasha?

Familiar with Inuyasha??? It's my favorite anime of all time!! I watched it like 10 times, seriously. I saw it on tv when I was little and fell in love with it.  I didn't knew you liked Inuyasha as well, another thing to fangirl together I don't really like SesshKag tho, I'm a die hard fan for InuKag, does she writes about InuKag too? Holy Sheets, I'm such an Inuyasha fan.  She does have InuKag fiction, but just a little.  I'm of the personal mind that you don't have to change your OTP to enjoy other pairings; I'm normally a diehard SessKag fan, but I've written InuKag in the past, and even now I'm working on a KogaKag fanfiction because it's a trade with another writer and I got in the mood.  Writing a romance fanfiction is basically a chemical experiment; what flavor will happen if I introduce these two to this situation?  XD  (Forthy swears that MirKag is her OTP, but she's written mostly SessKag for the last long while so I think ppl are starting to tease her about it.  XD)

Then again, maybe it's just me??  Is it??  I like experimenting with character chemistry, so even though I always have my "favorite" OTP, I'm constantly running off to read and write other pairings for the heck of it...

Still,  If you're not down for stuff like that just yet... like, please.  PLEASE.  Read her books.

Her Amaranthine Saga is actually fanfiction she's rewritten into original stories, and she's changed a loooooot about them... and they're beautiful.  My heart is screaming.  Damn if I weren't so busy I'd want to go back and reread both of them all over again SOOO GOOD.

Because I'm obsessed, I will give you three of her fanfiction and why I think they would be the best way to introduce you to Forthright:

Unexpected

This is her main IYKag fanfic, though I think she has a few others.  It's been on hiatus for a long while, but she never leaves a story undone; don't worry.  <3  Even more than that, this is the basis of her next original book, Tamiko and the Two Janitors!  I'm obsessed, and this is an excellent way to get a taste of her writing style.  

Froth

This is a MirSan fic; reasonably short and 100% wonderful.  If you ship IYKag, usually this pairing follows, so I'm listing it here.  This is one of my personal favorites.

Unspoiled

If you feel like trying SessKag, just to try?  This.  THIS is the fanfiction to get you started.  My personal, humble opinion is that there are two great SessKag fanfictions that are a must for anyone who is going to read them: this one, and The Once and Future Taiyoukai by RosieB.  This story will absolutely kyun your feels to death it's SO GOOD.  One of the original characters for this story also happens to be a recurring character in her Amaranthine Saga, and I think reading the fanfiction gives you an unlimited love of Hisoka-sensei. <3<3  (I could rant right here for a very long while.  I'm being careful to stop.  =v= )

But I'm so glad to meet another Inuyasha fan!  It feels like we're so scarce, even though it's just because the fandom's died down.

Ahhh, I guess we differ in that. I can't see Kagome with anyone else than Inuyasha. They're my ultimate OTP, I think even more than UlquiHime cause I love them since I was just a little girl watching cartoons.

A few years ago I went on a binge of Inuyasha art, you can see it if you scroll down my tumblr XD. I also drew a pic for an InuKag fic called The King's Mistress (by dolphingirl0113), you should totally read it if you have the time. But I guess I don't draw them that much because I don't have anyone to fangirl about them with, the fandom has become smaller and smaller every year. I remember reading fanfics back in 2007, when the fandom was so big, It's so nice to know you like Inuyasha too, we're like little unicorns ;u;

I think it's great you experiment with diferent couples, it does make you more versatile. I wish I could do that but once I choose a pairing it's hard for me to just swift to another. Now that I think about it, MirKag is indeed a cute couple, I guess I never even consider them as a couple because of Sango XD

I just started reading Unexpected and it's LOVELY. Thank you for introducing me to such a great author! Her writting style is gorgeous, I just wish she finishes it soon ;_;
