Just wanted to say that I have been looking again at your gallery trying to figure out how you do certain things and I have to say that seeing ALL your scenes en-mass REALLY highlights how prolific you are and how EXCEPTIONAL those images are virtually every time!!! The amount of time and huge amount of detail gone into every one is apparent when seen individually but is almost overwhelming when seen collectively. It's truly amazing how rich and well thought out each story is and how you have sustained each story for so long without losing the viewers interest. (I can now see why you had sooooo much filing to do) Once again, truly exceptional storytelling through fantastic imagesΒ Β Β

Many, many thanks, Porrette! I do try to put my love for my characters and their stories in the scenes I create. I've worked hard on building a universe and list of characters to fill that universe long before I could use Daz and Poser. I've been a Poser/Daz fan for over 15 years but could never do anything much due to inadequate hardware. Two and half years ago I finally was able to get a new computer and I immersed myself in Daz Studio. I was really liking what I was seeing with Iray and I was hooked. I waited so long to get my characters moved over from the pages and pages of sketches and traditional pen/ink art to 3D. It was always my goal and I guess better late than never. I have so many things I want to do I doubt I'll ever do 'random' (ie. non-story-driven) images. I still have several dozen character sketches which do not have 3D versions yet.
I've learned a lot in the last couple of years and will continue to learn and hopefully improve in some areas. But I do appreciate your thoughts and comments and glad you enjoy them. I will admit I am totally a Dazaholic. Truly addicted to the program. I don't know if I've ever had a more enjoyable hobby (gardening and birdwatching being the only exceptions).

Wow, that's a long time to perfect the stories etc, you have a lot of experience. I too am having so much fun with daz (even though we are all limited to what props are available and how much we can spend on them if we can't make them ourselves) Although if I could paint or sketch really well I doubt I would use 3d software at all, simply because of those limitations.Β
Hey, as you like birdwatching, I might have to post here my first and only renders of birds which I entered in Hivewires seasonal render competition! I didn't come anywhere but it was a good learning exercise. I wasn't going to show them anywhere else but you might appreciate themΒ Β Β
