Exactly, I just meant tiny details about the armour, nothing important, I wouldn't even think of criticising the events because it is fiction - I still love it

Indeed. But the descriptions of the armor are still really good. I can almost see the characters in my mind.
I'm now reading Cornwell's Saxon Tales. It'll be interesting to see how he tackles actual historical events as opposed to Arthurian stuff, which is largely based on speculation.

Oh god yeah, I wasn't saying anything about the descriptions and I'm not one of those nitpickers lol. The only thing was that Tewdric's Romans weren't quite right for the period, that's it lol - and even that isn't a problem in the slightest (and a damn sight closer than other attempts). Would love to see it adapted. The Saxon series is great too. Both series really bring the British landscape to life, it's almost another character.
