To answer your journal, maybe you can try to follow lessons to learn how to draw well? You will have a real engagement so it will be harder to stop so easily.

I've tried following lessons but I guess I give up too quickly. That's why I finally decided to spend some time here on a regular basis and see how other talented people (beginners/experts) are doing it. Probably spending some time here daily will always keep me motivated.
