“How dare my throne room

“You're drunk”
Said Holly
“But I'm hungover
Can't get no sleep
In this blazing Sun
Now step aside
Or I'll run you through
Either way
Your reign is done!”
“Pah!” Oak exclaimed
“Try me bitch.”
An eye roll later:
Holly left Oak's body
In a muddy ditch
Took Oak's Queen
To be his own
And sat his arse
Upon the throne
“Okay Sun
Let's have less of you
The Queen and I
Got some sleepin'
To do.”

One of the things I always think to ask those that view my work for the first time, is, What writers do I remind them of?

Your style is quite technical and descriptive lots of lists and observations. For some reason it reminds me of Henrik Ibsen or James Joyce although I have never read more than a chapter of his books. Your poems read more like a play or a manual rather than rhyming verse. I really like your work. It is quite distinctive.
