Thanks for the tinyURL link, dude. I'm still going to kvetch to the management here about that annoying emoticon filtering, but I'll definitely give that a try.
BTW, fantastic gallery you got here.

I disd wonder because you said that the self timer can be used as mirror lock up on the F80, it cant.

The self-timer does not lock the mirror up? Weird, that would be the first Nikon to not do so afaik. When you engage the selftime and press the shutter till it starts counting, does the viewfinder not turn black?

Followed you here from your forum post. Quite an interesting gallery you're developing. You certainly have a wonderful eye for landscapes. Beware though, I'll hold you to your desire to be critiqued.

My desire to be critiqued is actually not even all that big, in fact I like critiquing more than receiving comments/critique. It's just that I tend to get lost in this big ol' DA environment and would like to 'work' with people I know and in a cosy, familiar environment. Your enthusiasm and feedback are really appreciated!
Thanks for the comment about my gallery. Landscape is actually not my interest; most of it is from when I just started photographing (with a few exceptions), my first tries with a digital compact. Nowadays I am much more interested in photojournalism and documentary, I just have not kept my gallery much up to date. When I upload something, it's often a simple landscape or so, because I know a lot of people on DA appreciate those. Having a real critique center would probably encourage me to post some other stuff too; right now most people would probably go right by my newer pictures and +fav a sunset (and there's nothing wrong with that, it's just that my main interest lies not in sunsets and landscape )
Thanks once again!
