The first work I remember from CLAMP is Card Captor Sakura (CCS).
Actually, the first comic I read is "REX" (A comic about a girl and a little T-rex), but I was too small to have a good memory on that. Then, I watch "Magic Knight Rayearth" but also too young to remember every details.

To me, the first impression of CLAMP is CCS, when I was in primary school. Cute and warm, with a lot of beautiful flowers.....I then started to explore their work one-by-one. From "RG VEDA" to "X", to Gate9 now. I am totally impressed by the story and lessons behind each of them, not to tell about the gorgeous drawing styles!

So Which CLAMP's work do you like most? ^ ^

i personally think that CCS' art looks good no matter how old it is. nothing i've watch would beat CCS

i like how they draw the characters in tsubasa but i dislike the concept of the story.

It's happy to share my feeling with you!
It's difficult to find somebody who like CLAMP so much except my reality friend.
Me and my friend brought the Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC series and exchange to save our money XD

I have brought their illustration book of X - "X Zero & Infinity", do you know that?


I totally agree with what you said, CCS is the best.
Sakura in secondary uniform really attracts me! I cannot find a female character that I give so much love in. XD

For Tsubasa, I think CLAMP tried to tell so many things at once and they encountered difficulties....

Actually, the idea is very creative, but the plot cannot show that.
Too many questions are left even the story is ended.

I quite like the unexpected ideas they brought in the story, but I feel that they are doing this the first time.....Unlike other work, Tsubasa has too many secrets at once and a big big lesson - You cannot fight time, readers cannot manage so many complicated unknowns, that's why it gives a bad feeling.

For the characters, I like how they draw them except the grown-up sakura and Shaoran Li.....They does not match with the impression I have in the CCS ending >0< /

The new characters are nice, and the x-over idea is new :3

Magic knight rayearth, another good work.
It seems that opening the robot existence in Shōjo manga.
The fighting scenes are stunning and splendid!
It has all the old-traditional elements (element-related coloured hair and name, fall in love with dark side, etc), but it's still attractive. That's the secret magic of them XD

I look forward to watching how their new work becomes another masterpiece, it seems to relate to Sengoku. This is their second Shōnen manga, right? Hope they can succeed this time :3
