Yeah, but how many of those watchers do you think actually leave comments, or in some way or another acknowlege my existence. Quite few have actually given away the fact they do not pay attention to my comic, even though they claim to read it.

But, you know, even if they don't give me the love I so clearly deserve, they're good to show off and brag about.

"HAHA! Look how many people watch me!"

You know, that kinda thing.

Anyway, yeah... rambling up there... and yes, I am an egotisical git, in case you didn't catch on yet.

OH! And while I'm here, and typing an insane about, I looked through your gallery! It's nice! You have a nice style. Minimalistic and simple, but interesting and unique enough, it's not like I've seen it all before. Keep up the good work!

Yes. most watchers just seem to click "watch deviant" and go back to this persons page on rare occassions. Then they fave a deviation or some times leave a "LOL" for a comment. blah.

Haha. I like egotistical people. They are very entertaining.

And thank you. I'm trying to improve my style. I rather dislike most of the stuff in my gallery because it is back from when Jhonen Vasquez was my main source of inspiration. Now, not so much. But thank you still. I hope that my style becomes more unique and that I don't see any more "Jhonen would be proud" comments on some of my drawings. I see you get some of those as well, but I don't really see the "JV" style in your work.
Your style is muuuch different.

Heh... well, I can see how your older stuff may look more like JV's work, but with your newer stuff, I think you're doing a fine job on devoloping you style.

Also, those "Jhonen would be proud" comments. Do people actually think he'd be impressed that you could copy his style? I'm sure he'd love it so much more to see someone devolop there own.

Yeah, I use to get alot of "OMG! YOU LOOK JUST LIKE JV'S STUFF!", because of course Jhonen owns all that is big-eyed and skinny...

But I don't think I've gotten too many of those lately. Just one the other day. And if you're talking about ~arua1 's comment, she's a friend of mine, and that comment she just left as a joke. She doesn't think my stuff looks like his either.

That's good that you don't get comments like that anymore.

Artists try their hardest to create their own style that's different from it all and when someone comes around saying "Your Style is like Blksajgkldjg's" it is sort of depressing.
