Actually, it was really hard getting the flowers into place and keeping them there! Everytime I shot a photo, I'd have to sit up to press the shutter down, then hurridly get back into position in the bath. The flowers would float out of my hair, so I'd grab them and shove them around my face then get my hands into place.

The makeup is actually a combination of pale toned foundation, some blueish cluggy lipstick, and PS levels.

And yeah, I take the photos myself. I use a tripod and the self timer...

the meaning...well it sure won't open up to everyone, as is with all art right? as i say in the descritption, i did the image for the visuals and fun of it. i just like the idea in the image (i.e. what u see; she's licking her own blood from the wrist she cut on her wedding day). so there's no 'big' meaning behind it all, no symbolism, no mesage. it's just an image, just something i felt like doing. no more, no less.
