I haven't named my D90 yet or I'm having a tough time deciding on what name should I give her. :D (Big Grin)

She's great! I can do all the shots where the Coolpix L19 can't although she weigh more than a Kilogram.

I did try model portrait twice. The second try was not so good. I went blank on what will be the model's pose and expression on the time of the shoot. I'll try again during my Day-off. For now, I'm checking the portrait shots here at DA and used it as my reference. :D (Big Grin)

My other other problem is that she's a newbie model with no modeling experience. Thanks to the photos submitted here at DA, I could finally get some posing guides :D (Big Grin)

I added you to my watch :D (Big Grin) . I use a 50mm 1.8D Nikkor lens. I've been reading that Prime lens are better then zoom lens and are sharper. I went and got a 50mm, but I think I'm going to get a 35mm later on.

I've some sample shots from the that lens and it's really sharp and perfect for shooting in low light places. I'm also thinking of buying that kind of lens when I have the budget. :D (Big Grin)

Well these were kinda cheap. $140 compared to other top notch lens. I want to get a zoom lens though. I sold my zoom lens to get the 50mm.

There were a lot of opportunities to take photos. I got the chance to shoot models too. I'm still saving up for the 50mm portrait lens :D (Big Grin)
