hmmm yeah responsible for about 25,000 miles a year on my car, its going back to the same place to get the right light that saps the miles, i noticed you've been to belstone, very accessible, ive been there hundreds of times and probably have a couple shots to show for it. Gutted ive not taken more of the heather this year but the weather has not been conducive.....im without my 5d mk2 at the moment as it got blown over at the last shot i submitted, Β£500 bill and worse 10 days without it, using the 5d it makes me fully appreciate how good the 5d mk 2 is....

Ouch Steve, I've been in that boat before and it's a gut wrenching feeling. I must applaud your dedication to get the right shot. I hope to visit Belstone again soon and is one of my aims for when it snows

Regarding your post 'FAKE PHOTOS', I totally agree - 100%.
I accept that, in certain circumstances, one may use digital technology to create certain special effects; however, to make an ordinary photograph into something grander, even magical, is cheating, in my opinion.
One wonders why not just start out on the computer without even bothering to step outside the door?!!
