Hmmm If you want to try it out, I think you can try Illustrator on the official website, actually I'm using a trial of Illustrator.

Well that installer installs side-odd programs like Adobe Bridge which is like Photoshops image browser ><

If you love the Pen tool in Photoshop and you're using it 24/7 and loving the shortcuts and all, I think you'll gonna hate Illustrator. Especially selecting anchors (actually TRYING to select anchors) will make you angry.
