Don't tell anyone, but I had to do a double take when my boyfriend came home, the other night. He had the dark blue shirt on and the dark blue hat and the scruffy beard and ... WELL, IN THAT LIGHT, YA KNOW.
I have to ask, and you certainly don't have to answer, but how can you date a guy who won't geek out with you? My boyfriend loves going to conventions with me, but he refuses to cosplay -- no short, fuzzy, overweight characters he feels comfortable with. :\

I...hee. I never really thought about that actually. It's...hard I guess. We aren't into alot of the same stuff, and he doesn't get alot of the stuff I'm into...Like, Star Wars. o____O Er. I dunno, we've been together since highschool and yeah. It'd be nice to have a guy that was totally into all the same stuff I was in, but he's slowly starting to come around (I got him liking the Force Unleashed at least...just gotta force him to watch the A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) and he does enjoy Robot Chicken with me and I think he just picks on Joker and Seth Green because I won't shut up about them and he's just jealous! xD

Well, if it works out for you, that's great. I just hate seeing relationships where someone hates the "childish" things the other person is into, like gaming, cartoons, Star Wars, etc. All of my nerdy friends get pressured into quitting their fandoms by their significant others and it makes me want to just start punching people. >_>

Oh, that will never happen. He's never been able to convince me to drop anything, I think he tried once and I kept it in spite which made me lol. I think it was something Final Fantasy...Which I eventually gave up on my own because I started to realize all final fantasy after seven was a joke...and even then...>> Yeah...WESTERN RPGS FOR THE WIN! But I've made myself very clear with him that I will never change myself for him, everything about me is what makes me me. Lol...I'm proud of who I am and my dorky obsessions and he needs to get over it.
And he pretty much agrees, though it doesn't stop him from making fun of it, in which case I just turn around and make fun of all his lame crap! xD

I liked FF4, FF6, FF10 and FF12. FF4 was my first RPG. FF6 is my favorite Star Wars knockoff. Auron is my undead crush. Balthier is a hot pilot.

Vaan suffered from 'immature male hero syndrome.' It's common for JRPGs. Western RPGs seem to lack it, probably due to their increased levels of 'grizzled war hero.'

Meeeeeeh, the only thing I had liked about Vaan was that he was less whiny than Tidus. GOD TIDUS WOULDNT STOP CRYING...I was like BE A MAN! D< Rikku was tougher than he was! Though, I think the main drawback with JRPGS is the whole, terribly uncomfortable group laugh scene. THOSE KILL ME. I feel so awkward.

Hmmm...
I'm pretty sure you can upload .doc files without an issue, but I don't like to do it. I write in MS Word and then copy & paste it over to DA. The margins get really wonky when I upload a text file to DA.
