Woo! Hello der! I am a random person just scrolling through some art and I found you and your art--

Nice art ya do there! I also love anime and love to draw! I wanna get more into technology but I really have no practice on it. It's nice to meet ya! I'm also sorry if I bothered--

Hey there!

Thank you so much! Nice to see another anime lover/artist.
I assume you own a graphics tablet? It does takes quite sometime to
practice, and get used to it. I guess a starting tip would be to rotate it 45 degrees
just like you would sort of rotate a piece of paper, when drawing.

Also, nice to meet you as well, and it's all cool. Feel free to message me anytime.
Perhaps we can even draw together sometime. Have a good one then, see ya later!

I do not own my own drawing tablet (YET) sadly...;; I use my phone to draw digitally and I also draw traditionally as well. I am also aware I still do not have a lot of practice with digital drawing; I am kind of self taught...;;

That also sounds really cool! We should draw together sometime!!

Ah I see. If you have a tablet lying around, that might be a slightly better option.
And digital does takes sometime to get used to, I'm not aware of most techniques either.
However it most certainly is amazing, I'm self-taught as well!

Of course, would be a nice change of pace. I wanna get back to it as well.

hello yaseen, i'm TheBurus01... it's nice to make your acquaintance... i enjoy your art but i notice we have a lot in common... such as video games, computer technology and anime... by any chance can you tell me what anime you like?

Hey TheBurus01,
Glad to make your acquaintance as well. And that's really good to hear!
Truth be told, I don't particularly have any "single" anime I love. There's loads of em which I love,
different anime aired during different seasons. Mostly I find more "story" immersive anime better than the others.
I love Comedy as well, certain mystery ones as well, so yea. No single anime.

that's good to hear,
story is also a very important aspect of entertainment to me as well...
take for instance in video games where if the story isn't complemented by both
the design and game mechanics it can become less immersive or uninteresting for me.
anime similarly needs to have a good variety of different characters and a plot i can get behind for me to enjoy it...

i have also watched a lot of anime but i've also figured out what specific genres and sub genres i prefer...
take for instance mech anime... i like gundam wing but i dislike code geass (season 1)...
even though everyone likes code geass, i came to my own conclusion on what i think of it...

but when it comes to an anime like bleach where it's a blend of supernatural and action is really enjoy it...
where as noragami is similar as in it's a supernatural and action as well
but i couldn't get past the first episode as the plot and characters weren't interesting to me
but like again i only hear praise from others about how grate and funny it is

do you think i should give them both another chance even though they failed to impress me even though everyone else seems to like them?

it's all about personal preference and anime much like video games have a lot of genres and sub-genres that also have over laps with each other...
it's very interesting how people can have such drastically different opinions of the same thing, depending on what they expect or what they take away from their experience...
when i ask what anime you liked, what i should have said instead is, what type of anime fits your preference?

I must say that I try to watch at least a couple episodes of an anime before coming to a conclusion.
Take for example Durarara. It had a real slow start at didn't captured the viewer's eye (if at all), though
after almost 6-8 episodes, it had unimaginable twists which really made the viewer look forward to watching
the next episode.

Another good example is Steins;Gate. Although it was alright-ish in the start, and did had some interesting concepts
right off the bat, however it was pretty normal for what genres it offered until again the 10-12 episode (by which
most people drop out).

I don't exactly have a "proper" preferences, unlike more people out there. Even genres which I don't in particular like,
sometimes catch my eye due to their "uniqueness". I switch from genre to genre, and sometimes I just like searching
for random names and watching such anime (which sometimes ends up proving really helpful!). I tend not to judge
an anime too quickly or based on what other people say about it, similar to how think for yourself whether it matches
your tastes or not.

Yes, just as you said, in the end it all comes down to personal preferences, same can be said for games regarding both
genres, story as well as mechanics. In the end, I don't really have an exact answer.

what video games do you like to play?

10yaseen1 In reply to theburus01 [2016-12-18 17:05:00 +0000 UTC]

Quite a variety of them actually but lately I have been barely playing any exams due to
exams. I got Final Fantasy XV recently, my first Final Fantasy, really loving it.
I love The Witcher 3 as well, finished the main story as well as the Hearts of Stones DLC,
Playing Blood and Wine at the moment. Other than that, I'd say the Assassin's Creed series
was like, one of the games I just LOVED. And I still do but over the years it's kind of
dropping down I'd say.

There's a lot more but I don't know, I can't seem to recall them, considering I got a Maths exam in the morning.
Which games do you like?

i understand as i've ben through school and have finished college recently...

i also like the assassin's creed series...
i have yet to play the witcher 3 as i have a ps3 but oi do intend to...
i'm looking forward to final fantasy XV as it looks closer to the rpgs i like to play,
whereas the previous iterations do not...

i personally like the arkham franchise, as i'm a batman fan...
and would also say the fallout series is a good one as well...

Thanks and sorry.
I have been making some game development related, YouTube tutorials lately. Nothing much.

And, just The Forest game, wanted to try it out. Love it! How about you?
How's everything going?

Good to hear you're making content for the youtube channel, keep it up.
I've not played The Forest but i did watch splattercatgames let's play of it...
it was a beta or pre-alpha build... i can't remember...
i enjoyed it from what i saw... is it any different now?

i'm ok, i have yet to start playing games at the frequency i would like...
even though i can play a few games on the old ps3,
i'm still looking for a 500gb ps3,
so i can play all the other games i've been buying and waiting to play from the past half a decade...

10yaseen1 In reply to theburus01 [2017-01-09 16:26:23 +0000 UTC]

I see. The forest is still in early development but it's really gotten better than before.
There's also multiplayer (or more like co-op) which makes things even better!

I will most likely stop playing games much often now as my final year's exams are approaching,
seems like I really have to work hard (or smart) for this one. Have fun gaming!

And dang, try installing a hard drive manually maybe? If you know of any nearby stores which may
do that for you, or perhaps by watching tutorials (NOT RECOMMENDED, mostly because I messed up my ps3
due to that, back in the day).

Anyhow, sorry for the late reply, see ya later!

theburus01 In reply to 10yaseen1 [2017-01-10 16:26:08 +0000 UTC]

it's good to hear the forest has had updates since i last saw it, the co-op mode sounds like a good idea...

i understand that you'd stop or lessen playing games under the circumstances as exams are important.
it's been a while since i've done any exams but i have always been very laid back about such things...
as i'm considered a certified genius...

now that i have the time, i want to start building my CV and gaining experience by volunteering more often as well as playing video games...

in regards to the ps3 hard drive, if i were to replace the hard drive i would loose all the game data i have on the original HDD,
as ps3's have HDR copyright protection, which prevents the data being transferred to a new hard drive which i had researched about it 4 years ago.

besides the ps3 i have is 7 years old, i think getting a new or refurbished ps3 is a good idea,
i, like you have also researched many tutorials online all remain uncertain to me,
so getting a new one for under a hundred just seems like a better idea.

don't worry about the late reply...

so, what do you think of overlord the anime and batman arkham city?
have you watched any good movies or TV shows?
do you have any experience cooking or in computer science apart from games development/ animation?
games development is of interest to me, so i may ask questions about it in the future...

how would you recommend i gain leeway in to finding work in the games industry?
would you recommend i try out games QA testing for video games?
gaming journalism?
or becoming a let's player on youtube/ twitch streamer?
