Aw it's all good! The volunteer hours were really short so I wasn't at the actual booth on Fri/Sat for very long ; I hope Wondercon was fun/worth it for you at least?

Yeah it was great!
I actually ended up not getting a ticket for Saturday so I had to sneak in lol
I almost only got caught once (I then accidentally spilled a bit of coke on myself and ran off "to go clean it" but instead ran through the next set of doors in the other hallway)
Thank God they don't usually question cosplayers pfft

(Gah, browser crashed and there went my descriptive comment. x_x)

I used my own pattern for her top, but I'm sure there's a pre-made pattern for sailor tops that you can modify with shorten sleeves and torso, and if it's not already then you can have it slightly fitted to your body (mine is like that). I used a stretch denim in a dark navy blue and a tan linen that I wanted to look kind of scraggly for her tie (the tan linen was dyed into a cool gray from throwing it into the wash with the denim LOL). I used brassy buttons for her belt loops that go around the bottom hem of her top. Since the top was made to be a little loose on me, I didn't need a side zipper for her top but it may be necessary to put one in.

I live in southern California and I mainly go to AX and ALA. I've gone to Fanime before in years past but due to school reasons I have been unable to go as of late (it's iffy if I'll even go this year lol). I haven't been to Sakura-con before (in Seattle?) but I heard it was a popular con.

Hi there! I'm in southern California, and the locations I've gone to are usually within the area. Sometimes, pther photogapher and cosplayer friends recommend the locations, and sometimes the locations are found via Google along with some on-site exploring of the place. Depending on where you are, you can find some really amazing places if you look around hard enough!
