hey I started exactly like anyone else....if you are here you are doing the right thing. work on your art, try and be as creative and experimental as you can...and if you can really narrow down your goals to like one main thing...you will do great.

Your gallery is utterly phenomenal... I just wanted to let you know that your art has really inspired me, and if anything comes from it, I'll be sure to let you see it. Also, after looking through your info like a creepy stalker, I have to say your taste in movies rocks. And i would kill someone... almost literally (only I'm not THAT creepy).... to have mucha wallpaper anywhere in my home.

we got lucky on the mucha wallpaper. It was in my family and they had done a room in it about 20 years ago...they had just enough left to fo 2 walls of my bathroom so I scored.
I was raised by my grandparents so it's was sort of a weird upbringing... there's was a lot of art classical music and stuff..so Rembrandt and something like Mucha wasn't totally out of the ordinary...that's why I have sort of an art split personality...I am a punker who loves the classics.

My artistic taste definitely is kind of oximoronish. I like pretty and flowey and girly and all, but there has to be dark elements for me to really appreciate it. I think my taste comes down to Mucha mixed with Joel Peter Witkin, but with a modern grunge twist.

Fantastic work! I'm so glad that comics are finally hitting it up again, thanks to amazing directors and producers.
I work in a comic book store myself, so it's great to see all the publicity REALLY putting comics back out into the world again!

great piece....really nice.
You should post bigger scans though...it's really hard to see what you do...so it ends up sort of looking like a drawing/photo but you can't enjoy all the work you did on it.
I like it though a LOT.

Thank you. Your BR's amazing! I usually pencil first, then stipple over my pencils while looking at the photos ( references ) I try to make all of my illustrations as realistic as possible. Finished coloring the BR piece and I'll have it posted on DA this weekend. Used colored art pencils and some water colors. I wish that I could post bigger scans, but I'll certainly keep that in mind. I'm glad you like it, my friend and thanks again .
