Hello AG, you remember that i asked you somewhen last year about using your Sub Zero from MKD for that big Mortal Kombat Art Tribute i organized here on dA through some groups for the Game-Art-HQ.com website.
After over 210 portraits and illustrations of the many MK characters in their ton of different designs have been drawn i started working on the project on the website now and today your SZ was on my list. I thought that since it is your artwork and since you are a MK fan like myself the [link] interests you.
As you can see there, only 2 of the 12 main MK games SZ costumes are not drawn for our tribute yet. There are still around 60 not drawn character designs since this project is quite a challenge to complete. If you are ever in the mood to draw a MK character for this project you would be very welcome on board.

Wow that's awesome! Thanks a lot! Honored to be featured there. Surprised no one did MKDA standard outfit since it's basically just an older version of MK3. I think you said only one drawing per character per artist, but if you want you can use my 3D model for MKvsDC, since it was originally based off that version. - [link] If I ever do any other MK characters I'll let you know!

I try to have full body portraits in general for the Mk tribute, but maybe i could use your Scorpion which i could take as MKDA 2nd costume, the one i got so far is not so great ^^ I got a MKDA Sub Zero too a good while ago but it was also not up to the general standard in the tribute
The one drawing per artist was a good rule when i started the MK tribute in September 2011 and it was only about the around 65 different Mk characters, but now with around 280!!111 different costumes..and those do not even include the MK Shaolin Monks and MK4 alternates it is super difficult to get so many artists together. Around 210 entries are submitted by 160 artists now and i guess thats a great achievement already

You mean the full body MKvsDC Scorpion I did? You could use it if you want or the flaming skull fatality version I did. Would be awesome to have my Reptile featured somewhere since that's my favorite, but nonetheless feel free to use any of the MK art I have for your project.

Just 43 more MK character designs are not claimed yet i got around 13 new artworks in the week..even that Mokap guy from MKDA is drawn now

thanks but i try to have only one entry per artist in the project..this is quite a hard task because there are all in all around 250! different characters and character designs and it is not really easy to find artists who would draw as example Hsu Hao but i see it as a worthy challenge, and the result it quite epic ...such a big fan art project has never been done before

True or characters like Dariou or Darrius. MKD in general introduced so many odd characters. Drawing them is like being stuck with sloppy seconds, haha. Deception was actually the most memorable MK for me growing up, so it's very cool to have my art featured in that section and to be a part of this huge project overall.

For the vase you didnt see it before [link] thats the MK Tribute i could build up last year, all ever playable characters were covered and a few of the rumored ones as well..but i say ya it was hard to get dairou and meat drawn..actually 2 artists claimed meat but than didnt deliver him and only the third artists took the challenge and did his best to create a worthy entry
Some pieces created for it are more than awesome..some are really well..not so good and thats why a few characters like kira and freddie krueger were made avaiable again
MKD was damn good for the single player experience..the Konquest mode was a bit weird but overall very entertaining the most new characterdesigns were lacking though..especially dairou and hotaru ..i liked ashrah and hope she will be back in a new MK
