I am close to having myself a job at a new game studio in Auckland too

To be honest its a rough world, but I am starting to see now, it is possible to pursue this line of work for a career
You have yourself a nice unique style, make sure you express it in a range of genre's on your portfolio, If you do want to get into character design specifically you need to show you can design alllll kiiinds of characters- you probably know that already tho

Yeah, I know my skills are not up to industry standard right now, but I think if I just keep pushing myself and my style I will get there by the end of my studies (well that's what I'm hoping anyways xD).
