The movie is Labyrinth. It's an older movie, with puppets made by Jim Henson in it, and David Bowie as one of the starring roles. It's really good and available on DVD. Netflix used to have it on instant stream, but it was taken down sometime last year.

Yeah, I'd like to try to get out and experience more conventions and gatherings, comic con and the like, the artist's presentations about working in the field I've found to be most valuable, and meeting so many people with similar interests is very cool, especially considering I really would love to make comics and cartoons someday, and if I did people like these would support and sustain the work, if it was good enough, so that's encouraging too.
