I went on vacation with 3 friends of mine
It was awesome, because we rented an apartment on an island  and the ocean water was so blue and so clear you could see the stones on the bottom!

i'm doing okay. been having a few issues at home with the foster kids though.

 my art has been going pretty good and i've been kicking ass on kingdom hearts hd. i love it so much.

Oh Lord...Horitsuba!Fye would be ALL OVER THAT. XD He loves to cross-dress and Regency wear is so lovely and feminine. *laugh* Mmm, and Kurogane would be perfect as George Knightley. *w*

I like "Sherlock Holmes", Childs & Preston's books involving Aloysius Pendergast (a modern day Holmes), Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series, some of Stephen King's works before his van accident, random historical fiction and when I'm in a fluffy mood, "Little Women".

Ah, it's a shame I never red a Sherlock Holmes Novel... though I really wanted to do so... but there's always another book to read first... like Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere or "The Eyre Afffair" by Jasper Fforde... I'm currently rdig a lot of anty stuff like f.e. "Clockwork Angel" from Cassandra Clare

I do tend to randomly buy books and read them so I can't really say much about preference (although many would agree I tend to go into the Fantasy-Thriller-Romance Section...) ... and I'm into Regency books, like...a lot XD

Oh, but come on...George Knightley. Hardly any people skills, possessed of a very warm and loving heart, an authority figure in charge of protecting and guarding those in his care, respected by everyone, loved well by those who know him, capable of self-sacrifice...he's perfect for Kurogane to cosplay. XD

Actually I guess most of those qualities can translate to Darcy as well. But Darcy has polish and politics. Kuro-sama is more gruff and reminds me of Knightley more in that respect.

My reading selection can be pretty eclectic too. And I don't have many "favorite authors" because I tend to be a little fussy. My favorite book is "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo, but I HATE "Hunchback of Notre Dame" which is also by Victor Hugo. ^^'

Gosh, I just bought the whole "The Mortal Instruments" series/trilogy today cuz i finished the 1st book of the prequel and the second won't be out until next year ... gha o.o I'm such a damn bookworm...

Well, it's true that I'd probably hit someone with a hard object (preferably with an old book) than let 'em rip/burn/hurt a book D:

I think that reading is very important for someone to learn social skills... I mean where else do you get the best lines from? Certainly not from staring at a wall all day

I wish i had more space for my books.. or more money to buy them... or both XD

*ahaha* My husband will see a wonderful sports car and wish for it. I see the same car and say, "Wow, think of all the books I could buy if I had that car and then sold it." XD Reading and drawing are two of my passions~ <3

Reading is so important! I think it helps you to do well in school, in all subjects, because even in math you need good comprehension skills in order to understand the lessons.

I draw for pleasure, although I do some contract work for GaiaOnline.com. That, however, is pixelling, not sketching/drawing. ^^ I decided a long time ago that if I were to attempt to make a career of sorts out of it, the pleasure would go out of it.
