In that case just wait with the claiming

There is no general deadline, instead every participant gets a deadline of exactly 1 month, over 90 Mortal Kombat characters are avaiable this time while MK itself is not as popular as last year

In 2011 it needed around 3 months to get the 80 characters drawn by 80 artists, i believe it might take up to 5 months this time..the tribute was announced 2 days ago, 15 artists are onboard and i think a lot spots are still avaiable in july and some in august too
