# About me
I am an artist of Polish descent currently living and working in Canada. By the end of 2011 I am scheduled to exhibiting my work in group shows in Canada, United States and Europe. When creating I make my artistic choices based on intuition alone. I believe one's intuition is where best and pure art comes from.I am interested in exploring the relationship between different states of consciousness, perception, reality, illusion and memory. My work is influenced mostly by organic shapes and colours of nature, as well as fairy tales and various mythologies. My other influences are: my European heritage as well as Canadian physical and social landscape and finally graffiti. As an artist I believe that NOTHING has an absolute representation. Under different states of perception and consciousness ALL objects and things look different, which is called "the transformation of things“.
How do we know when we’re dreaming, and when we’re awake? How do we know if what we’re perceiving is “real” or a mere “illusion”? We all might wonder like Chuang-tzu "now am I a man who just dreamt he was a butterfly; or a butterfly who is now dreaming that he is a man?"
