Your work is so beautiful! You have so much talent!
I'm (very) new to digital painting, and was wondering if you had any tips on shading/blending and getting details right? I use Photoshop, my work at the moment isn't good at all - I'd love to be as talented with painting like you someday. :) (Smile)

Everyone has to start somewhere... it's good to see another artist getting into the world of digital art. One of the biggest tips I can give for blending is to use the blur tool as little as possible. Actually, I never use it - try playing with opacity and flow (use them in combination with one another) to create a blended effect. It works really great, without smudging and losing the quality of the image. :) (Smile) As far as getting the details right - I used a grid to teach myself how to get the details, and I still use rulers to make sure I'm getting things right. Sometimes grids also help to correct mistakes and help you see what you did wrong.

...Practice is also a good thing! The more you practice, the better you'll get. Trust me. ;) (Wink) And you're off to a great start!
