Hi, I have been asked to make an Anastasia necklace and would love to have your permission to use your together in Paris graphic, and perhaps to make one or two to put on my own website, I specialise in fairy tale jewellery and would love to add this to my selection, I have some vintage Swarovski stones from the 70s to go on the other side and the necklace will be entirely hand crafted, I would send you a picture for your approval, also I would credit you in the details showing exactly where the image is from, please would this be ok?

Yeah, it sucks, but at least I've got some more time to work on my cosplays. I'm doing Rose Tyler and Jenny from Doctor who, revamping Katniss from Hunger Games, trying to get a new wig to do a complete Annabeth at last, and then I'm doing Lavender, Ginny, Cho, Tonks, Pansy, and Astoria from Harry Potter. So next A-Kon I'll have my choice of good costumes to choose from.

Naturally colored blond wigs in the quality I look for are EXPENSIVE! Seriously, if and when I get my new Annabeth wig, it's probably going to be the most expensive wig I've gotten.

My hair is blond right now, but the upkeep on it is so much, so in order to have it look right at a convention would be to have it redone EVERY time I go to a new con, or else I'd have several inches of brown. Plus, my hair can't get to the shade of blond I want without damaging it with bleach. I know. I've tried. It always has a red-y golden undertone that I don't like for my blond characters. And I think that a good wig looks more professional than just using your real hair. I'm weird, and picky. The wig I'm looking at for Annabeth (which would double for Luna Lovegood eventually) is 30 to 40 dollars, depending on if I can catch it on sale.

Yeah. But it's actually a really good wig. It's heat-resistant and thick and pretty worth the money. Girls pay a lot more for fake hair, trust me. XD The wig I'm looking at is pretty much exactly what I want, I just have to save up the money. It was either her or Tonks, and I chose Tonks, since my sister and I are going to be doing a cosplay weekend in a month or so, and I wanted Tonks ready, since we both cosplay a lot of Potter characters.

I'm hosting a Harry Potter In-Character cosplay Q&A panel at IkkiCon this upcoming year, so I'm trying to get as much stuff in as possible, just in case someone doesn't have something.

You should totally try to get down here for it. It's sure to be a blast. My sis, who's co-hosting with me, is cosplaying Draco, her fiance is going to be Harry, I'm being Lavender, and we're going to have a whole bunch of awesome HP cosplayers. We've even got a Trelawney.

You wouldn't have to be IN the panel. We've already got almost everyone cast (I think we're missing 6 people out of the 20 we want). It's just a panel. People are just gonna show up and ask all us panelist questions and we ask answer them in character. That sort of thing. And my sister and I are making a bunch of chocolate frogs that we're going to give out as prizes for good questions.

I go to a couple local conventions a year, usually A-Kon in Dallas and IkkiCon in Austin (Ikki is the easiest because I live in Austin). They're a lot of fun, even if most people don't cosplay book characters like I do. I really want to go to a Harry Potter convention one day, like Leaky Con or Yule Ball. There are probably a few conventions within driving distance of you, if you ever wanted to go to one. They're really not that expensive (you can usually get rooms at motels that aren't far from the convention, and tickets usually range between 35 and 70 dollars for 3 day passes). And you get to meet a lot of really awesome people.
