# About me
Born at Eluru, Andhra Pradesh to a renowned artist, he developed passion for art from his child hood and studied photography in JNTU, Hyderabad. During his long career of more than three decades at IDPL, Rishkesh as Artist/Photographer, he developed his basic instincts into professionalism in diverse media of art like paintings, sculpture, photography and collages. He has had ample opportunities to enhance his talent through interactions with several national artists in different national kala melas. He has specialised himself in Landscapes, Ganesha, Nudes, Dances and Portraits. The pallet and brush movements in his paintings shows impulse, energy and potential that can move in any direction, transforming Realism in to a simplistic abstraction with blend of colours and forms attracting even a child’s eye to an old man. All his works starts and end with a specific thought, colour, form and message.Through his several works on Ganesha, he has demonstrated how an artist conceives and portrays the several forms and names of Ganesha to depict Nava rasas of life. The diverse works on Nudes conveys Ardhanreeswara tathva of the universe and stands as symbol of nuclear attraction. The simple glance through his Himalayan landscapes extends a tremendous feeling of elevations and depressions, ascents and descents, crests and troughs finally culminating in to an eternal beauty and tranquillity. On the other hand, his works on bromide paper reveals the scientific temper, innovation, ability of showing Grandeur using simple methods, symbol of contemporary art and first of its kind in India. The variety of sculptors made up of wood, plaster of Paris, and simple mud also shows his versatility of using different media. The collection of his paintings gives a grand felling of cross breeding of ideas and thoughts, can add invaluable and diverse splendour on display at any place.
He conducted several painting and photo-painting exhibitions in prominent art galleries across the country and received several awards. The exhibitions received critical applause from the press & T.V as well as enthusiastic response from the art lovers. Some of the valuable collections of his works are Austrian Embassy- New Delhi ,Mr.J.R.D.Tata- Bombay. His publications in Artists Directory 1981 published by Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, Asia’s Who’s Who of Men & Women of Achievement & Distinction, Livre d Orders Collectionneurs et Amateurs d’Art, Paris, Biography international are noteworthy. He is also serving as President of Andhra Academy of Arts, Vijayawada since three decades for the cause and propagation of art.
