yeaaah- I can't confirm if that's truly his real name or not, but I kind of doubt it was. Either way, you're 100% correct! It's extremely disrespectful, and I will take it down; this account is very inactive, and the last time I came on here was 81 weeks ago, and even then, I did it to look at old notes of mine. Point is, I was super fucking stupid a few years ago. Hell, I even tried to find out what Cry's face looked like- which now, kinda fuckin' disgusts me. There's youtubers that I like currently, and who had their face revealed (ex: pyrocynical) and it pissed me off beyond belief.
I understand now what the importance of privacy is, and trust me, I'll edit this page so stuff like Cry's possible name isn't up, and make it so people know this account isn't active- like, at all. I'll make a journal for that & put it on the page so people know- although, I'm genuinely curious & confused how people are still coming across this account.. Its been dead for a couple of years now ?? it's fuckin' weird...

No problem. I recently read about an old Cry post on tumblr and which Cry mentioned he didn't like people using his real name in Fanfics and fandom stuff so yeah. I'm sure people visit this because of the name probably.

I get that you're just telling me that it is, but still. Would you use Cry's name even if he said he doesn't like when people do that? Would you disrespect what he wants to use his name for some kind of roleplay or fanfic?

i don't use his real name in public or on the internet where anyone can see. i don't even use his name when talking to my friends. he's Cry. his name may be Ryan, but he is Cry. that's what he wants to be called and that's what i call him. however, in a private youtuber RP with my friend, he is occationally called Ryan. because someone knocking on his door and saying, "is Cry home?" isn't realistic. so in those situations and when he is talking with friends, he's called Ryan. but, other then in those situations in that private RP, no, i never call him Ryan because he doesn't want us to. but honestly, if it was that big of a deal, why didn't he tell his brother not to say his name? or cut the parts where he said it? also, did he actually say not to use his name? i'm sure he doesn't want people to, but i've never seen him actually say it.

From what he had said in the vent that stood out to me was this: "just the other night I saw someone writing a fanfiction that used my real name (another thing I despise happening)". Maybe he has said it in a past video of Cry talks, just haven't seen it.

i understand not wanting people to publically call him by his real name. that's not something you should do. even i  fanfictions, that is not something you do. although, my friend and i write him with his real name in our RP because it's private, no one but the two of us can see it.
