Simple history because the admin sucks at writing
*Florida was discovered in 1565 by Spain but was treated with little or no care at all since Spain only came to the America's for God, Gold, and Conversion. But Samantha was happy Spain gave her the name Florida since it sounded so pretty. He named her Florida because when she was discovered it was during the time of the "Florida de Pascua" which means Easter's Flowering.
*Florida had to spend most of her life with the other states such as California, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.
*During the Colonial times Georgia was the buffer state which separated Colonial America from Spanish Florida. Teen! America was terrified of Sam from all the stories England has told him about Spain.
*Even though Florida Geographically in the South she is considered part of the Northern states. That is why she gets along really well with NY, NJ, Conn, Penn, and DC.
*She is a Flip state meaning during the elections it depends on her and a few other flip states to decide the fate of the US because of her population density. Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach county are the most populated cities in comparison with the rest of the State which lean more towards the Democratic side because of the majority of Hispanics that live in those cities.
*She gets along pretty well with Cuba even though there was that one time during the cold war where Cuba almost bombed her (Cuban Missile Project). But she has to thank Cuba for influencing her. She can’t function through out the day with out her Cuban coffee and bread. ((CAFÉ CUBANO CON TOSTADAS~))
*She is known for her very artsy style in art and music. Many artists such as PitBull and FloRida were born in Florida.
*Florida once attended a All-girls Academy once. It is now #25 on the nations top 50 schools of the US. ((YOUNG WOMENS PREP. PRIDE X3))
*She can speak spanglish but when shes mad she goes and speaks with spanish fury.
*Favorite Animal will have to be any reptiles or Wildcats. She spends her free time at the everglades riding on the airboats
