As you can see my stuff does not lend itself to comics but I still appreciate art unlike my own.

There is a difference between stealing an idea and being inspired by it. Besides, you can't 'steal' a style, you can copy it and apply your own ideas to it, which is what has been done here. If people were to do what this person is claiming, then Deviantart would be a very small art site.
