Hello there! I'm Mikayla and I have a strong passion for art, music, and nature. I'm not much of a people person, but I do have a handful of close friends. I'm pretty quiet in person, and it takes me a lot to open up and be my loud obnoxious self, but online, I can get there much quicker
. Anyway, my art is mainly animals, and some digital fantasy here and there. I started out with traditional way back when I learned how to hold a pencil, and never looked back. My main inspirations as a five year old were horses, dragons, and dinosaurs. I Moved onto mimicry when I got a bit older, maybe ten years old and I would copy animals out of my myriad of biology/animal books. I still have most of those books, and I do read them. I love learning about animals, plants, and tiny creatures you can't even see. I evolved to digital art in eventh grade, and I 'm pretty far from where I want to be in that medium. Traditional art and sculpture continues to be my go-to, and I've won a few awards in my years of school, and plan on getting my art put into some shops and galleries downtown. Art is my gateway from the mess that is my own self. I have pretty nast anxiety/depression/OCD and those have brought me to some pretty ugly places, but my art was always there, waiting to be released. My favorite thing about art would have to be the fact that you're a few brush-strokes, or pencil lines away from creating a new world. You're only limit is yourself, after all.My childhood was troubled and I was forced to grow up at an early age so i like to think I'm pretty mature and open minded. I've learned not to judge others for any reason at all, because I myself have been through hell and back so I have absolutely no place to judge anybody when I am far less than perfect.
