Thank you for the llama! I just read your intro and I see that mentioning Ansel Adams was hitting the bull  
But... The motto is true for Ansel Adams techniques and the zone system, but taking a photo is also a meaningful, artistic process. Not as taking a nap or taking some coffee but as taking a tour—you plan to get from here to there, plan the route, percept all the influences you find valuable and reach your desired target. In this sense taking a photo is not only pressing the button, trapping fotons to emulsion or bytes but it is getting more, absorbing details of the world and this is also a personal spiritual achievement. Zone System is a way, very interesting, but not better nor worse than any consistent and conscious photography. For me, this is where art of photography emerges over taking snapshots.

I am not the source of ultimate truth and this is not the Words of Wisdom. I just admired these things by watching your photographs, remembering Ansel Adams and reading your words (and his ones). Thank you for this experience!
