I acquired an axolotl from a reptile show about a month ago. I absolutely love em'! They're wonderful guys to have.

I guess I'm a fan of them too, probably because of their scientific peculiarity. They are by far the most fascinating neotenic species I've heard of. Good luck with the club!

Well, it depends what kind of pet you'd like to have I guess ^^
I had a long past of aquariophily, so I don't find them hard to "handle", except that they need a "low" temperature (around 17Β°C), so in summer I have to put them in a cool room

ah I guess a lot of experience with aquatic pets helps a lot :] I just had a few fish. I'm more the insect/arachnid ethusiast myself but the axolotl caught my attention by simply never having seen anything like it before
