hmmm, what can I say... I guess checking around anatomy guides help a lot. I always start drawing characters full body before I cover them with clothes/ armor. The designs I usually do are just mix- ups of whatever other designs that inspire me, these are just my personal style though. I'm not a professional artist, it's just my hobby so all I can say is do whatever style makes you more comfortable. I still have a really hard time doing digital so it's one thing I envy from you guys
