# About me

My name is Ben Allen and I am an amuetuer Cartoonist from Norwich in the UK and I am an animation graduate from the Norwich University College of the Arts. My interests include Film, Retro Videogames and Comicbooks which all tend to affect my work as you'll see when you take a peek into my gallery. Although I work in the moving image as I studied animation I also like to do other multi media projects such as illustration and comic strips which is why I prefer the term cartoonist over animator and although I so try to experiment with different styles to achieve the right outcome I do seem to have a set style. I like to think its a combination of Eurropean, American and Japanese comic book styles and I tend to use pencil which I then scan and draw over using a cintiq screen digitally colouring it aswell, however I also use Indian inks. I also do some Graphic Design work. Anyway! Welcome to my Deviant Art Page!...
