# About me

Hi, my name is Bernard Schroeder, I live in Poland, southern part, close to Czech Republic...

I like travels, especially mountains area, also forests, lakes and sea, old cities, interesting old architecture..

I love animals and plants, especially my beloved Sheltie dog named Sequin (originally "Cekin" in Polish). I have aquarium since my childhood, I had a cat over 18 years in high tower block - where I lived with my parents...

I play guitar, like to listen classic and folk music - especially Spanish, Latin-American, Greek, Israeli, Gipsy, Romanian, Balcan, Russian, Country, Arab and etc folk...
I like also instrumental & electronic music, especially Mike Oldfield, Vangelis and Jean Michelle Jarre...

I like to read historical, travel and adenture books, somethimes philosophical and politics - the same kind of films, plus good comedy... (mostly Polish ones, like: "Vabank"etc.) and fantasy like The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

My first pictures I startet in late `70-s, there was black&white only pictures, then I made hundereds of color slides in very rare places - somethimes hard to access (I was speleologist & climber). It was in 1980-1990 period...
Then I started analog color pictures, and since 2006 digital...

Few times I tried to be professional photographer, but I was not lucky, huge transformations in my country was not to good for that, when money lost their value every month (1988-1990 - it was called "hiperinflation").

So finally most of my work has been done during holidays or business trips, just occasionally...

Now I`m over 2 years unemployed (becouse of deep depression, now I try to get out of this and stand up on my feet) - so I have much time to make some order with my pictures and after making it - I will add some chosen works...

I have thousants of different works, but some of them needs some job to be able presented in digital way (scanning of analog pictures or slides)...

Maybe some of those slides are most interesting, but I do not have scanner needed to digitalize them, and market services are to expensive for me now...

Thank you all for you attencion and kind opinions, You can not imagine how much it means to me now...
Human in depression just think that he and his life is just worthless and hopeless - so you can help me to change this thinking...
