-throws how long it usually takes for me to do a drawing-

6-8 hours ;--;

for simple art i sure do take a long ass time

hmmm... you're probably right. for me it also depends if i want to do it neatly or not, detailed or simple... so i have mixed times, kinda depending on how I would like to portray it .x.
sketches and lineart are probably the most time-consuming for me (1hr-3hrs), coloring and shading is... meh oki but detailed backgrounds kill me (+2hrs-5hrs) 
I really gotta work on practicing backgrounds end my misery
