You have all these fancy words for different kinds of values, sections, ratios, risks, analysis named after some guys and whatnot, plus all those formulas and coefficients and numbers you need to know what they represent. And the theory sounds so damn boring. But it's a science, all right. Only you can't conduct any actual experiments, lest you destroy a whole country's economy, so you dig up and research economic situations and happenings in the past and speculate what the future could hold. Learned economics is just a series of text walls with some formulas here and there. Applied economics are a bunch of graphs and thrice the amount in numbers each representing something else.

To keep it short: It's boring.
