Do you have any tips ((or know any guides)) for how to design clothes for winged characters?

Experiment a lot, consider both the environment + culture they're in as to what it is they're wearing (shorts, sweaters, robes etc) and fastening methods like buttons, velcro, ribon, and hooks, and treat wings as arms and give them sleeves.
If they're somewhere elaborate and decadent, then maybe lots of cloths and silks that flow over everything and are almost too heavy to fly in, or if they're somewhere that values practicality and warmth, something more streamlined like a wet/flightsuit.
